HYBRID EXOTIC CAT COMING TO YOUR TOWN

We hope to be the first Savannahs breeder in Asian region. Our family are cat's lover and we dedicated our simple life just to be around our cats. Our Savannahs will join our cattery by the end of 2011 stage by stage and hopefully, we'll have a few F3, F4 and SBT's next year. We have very close relationship with established breeders from US and UK, thanks to them we manage to get their prized and exceptional savannahs breeders.

Savannahs To Bengal Outcross In UK

By breeding Savannahs to Bengal, it will bring the snow into the savannahs as the snow savannahs are very popular here the UK.

In the UK, the price reduces for the first mating of bengal to savannah unless they are snow in which case we ask GBP 600 as pet price or anything from GBP 1,000 to GBP 3,000 breeding price for the snows depending on how good they are?

Attached photos are the latest silver spotted lynx male savannah that my friend from Purebliss Cattery kept for snow savannah breeding programme.

Although the snow savannahs or the bengal to savannah crosses aren’t allowed in show, most of UK breeders do it in the UK.

Pet prices vary – from as little as GBP 200 pet price for the bengal-cross-savannah brown marbled kittens that look like crosses to GBP 600 pet price for the snow marbled kitten from the same litter as a pet – or GBP 1,000 for a female snow out of the same litter?

Price will increase up to GBP 4,000 for a snow spotted savannah male for breeding because they were so hard to find of that quality.

Once you get to the second outcross then your prices go up to normal savannah prices for the brown spotted.

I may try outcross breeding in the future and have fun with it .

The registeration are still considered as savannahs as normal.

OUTCROSSES

The International Cat Association TICA allows the following breeds (Ocicat, Oriental shorthair, and Egyptian Mau) as permissible outcrosses with Savannahs.

Attention:-
The Bengal breed was being used as an outcross some years ago, but it was proven to be too dominant, eliminating the savannah genes in a few generations. Thus, TICA forbids bengal outcrosses to all breeds, including Savannahs.

Savannah cats entered TICA's championship status in 2012.
